At Africa Ewaka, we are proud to be at the forefront of the fight against global climate change. Through our innovative gardening project at the center, we are not only addressing the critical issue of climate change but also empowering the young people and our local community to create a sustainable future. One of the key aspects of our initiative is the recycling of plastic bottles and containers into gardens. We do not only repurpose these materials and reduce waste, but also actively reduce our carbon footprint. This sustainable solution allows us teach local communities to contribute positively to the environment while using the available space to create beautiful gardens that provide food and income for our community.

In addition to the environmental benefits, our gardening project also serves as a platform for skills training. We believe in the power of education and empowerment, particularly for our orphans. Through cooking classes, we are equipping them with valuable culinary skills while also teaching them about sustainable practices and the importance of environmental stewardship, everyone making a positive impact on our environment, by incorporating sustainability into gardening projects, setting an example for others to follow, educating and empowering our youth, creating a generation of environmental heroes who will continue to drive global climate action forward, improving our community’s access to nutritious food but also creating economic opportunities that will uplift our community.
